Tensions in the Middle East have risen again after officials in Iran announced that more than 40 missiles were launched in what they described as the 17th wave of strikes targeting positions associated with both Israel and the United States. The announcement was delivered through Iranian state television and attributed to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
According to the statement, the launches are part of a broader military campaign referred to as Operation Honest Promise 4. Iranian officials said the latest wave involved missiles fired by the IRGC’s aerospace forces toward what they described as “American and Zionist targets.” At this stage, however, the report did not include specific details about the exact locations involved, the types of missiles used, or the extent of any damage.
