The sudden medical emergency led doctors to perform emergency surgery to treat pericardial effusion, a dangerous buildup of fluid around the heart. When her cancer returned in 2024, friends, colleagues, and supporters came together to help fund advanced treatments not covered by insurance. 💙 Her final months were spent surrounded by family and community.
