Trump Praised By Clinton, Schumer After Historic Israel-Hamas Peace Deal

The deal follows the October 2023 Hamas attack that killed 1,300 Israelis and took over 250 hostages. Israel responded with a massive military campaign that killed thousands in Gaza and left widespread destruction.

With the support of Qatar and other regional partners, the Trump administration successfully negotiated a ceasefire that included the release of all 20 remaining Israeli hostages and more than 1,900 Palestinian prisoners.
