Donald Trump has shared an emotional message he received from the families of American service members who lost their lives during the recent military confrontation with Iran.

His remarks came after he attended a solemn ceremony honoring six U.S. soldiers who were killed during the early phase of the growing conflict.

Rising tensions after the strikes

The confrontation intensified after coordinated airstrikes by the United States and Israel on Iranian targets on February 28. Reports at the time indicated that Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, had been killed during those operations.

In response, Iran launched multiple missile and drone attacks aimed at U.S. forces and regional allies. Targets reportedly included locations in Israel as well as bases and facilities in Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Jordan, and the United Arab Emirates. Since then, tensions have remained high as both sides continue exchanging warnings and military actions.
