Iran has 440.9 kilograms (972 pounds) of uranium that is enriched up to 60% purity, a short, technical step from weapons-grade levels of 90%, according to the International Atomic Energy Agency. Iran’s semi-official Tasnim news agency is reporting that the potential deal stipulates that the number of ships able to transit the Strait of Hormuz would return to the pre-war level within 30 days. The naval blockade must be completely lifted within 30 days according to a memorandum of understanding, Tasnim said, adding that part of Iran’s frozen funds must be released in the first phase.
