Fetterman Breaks with Democrats on Voter ID, Slams ‘Jim Crow 2.0’

Washington D.C. – In another stunning break from radical Democrat leadership, Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pa.) has once again embarrassed Chuck Schumer and the extreme left by openly supporting voter identification laws and rejecting the hysterical “Jim Crow 2.0” smear against the Safeguarding American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act.

The SAVE Act, which passed the House this week, requires photo ID to vote, proof of citizenship when registering, and mandates states to clean non-citizens from voter rolls — basic protections to ensure only American citizens decide American elections. Senate Democrats, led by Chuck Schumer, have blocked the bill and labeled it “Jim Crow 2.0,” a disgraceful attempt to equate common-sense election security with racist history.
